I am going to file for bankruptcy, and I will not be keeping my home. Should I secure a rental before my credit is shot? Will it affect my bankruptcy filing? I’m a mother of 4 and the home I’m renting is in foreclosure. The landlord is denying it but my sister in law is a real estate agent and looked it up. Where can I find these records? I live in Idaho and found out my landlord is in foreclosure. I have found another place to live and want to leave prior to the 45day notice I have to give according to the lease agreement. Do I need to give that notice? I recently had four rental properties in California go up all at the same time and they are not renting after a couple of months even after dropping the rents.
